Crazy: Is it a bad word?
The term, “You’re crazy” is part of human vernacular.
Are you offended if someone calls one of your ideas, “crazy?” What if they call your best friend “crazy,” are you upset? If so, why?
When people say to me, “You’re crazy,” I say, “Thank you!”
Is crazy a bad word? I say, no, it isn’t. If I am crazy, I love crazy!
If society chooses to call or label the mentally ill “crazy” fine. Labels can often be comforting.
The word CRAZY has no control over me nor does it define me.
By not using it and reacting strongly against it, we give it MORE power.
I refuse to give it power. I use its power to move me forward to strength and joy.
So call me crazy. Crazy like a fox!
